About the Position

Montico Katrineholm is handling the recruitment on behalf of Sjötorps Hus, and employment will be directly with them.

Full-time permanent position, On-site in Söderköping (initially). The headquarters is located in Katrineholm, an office you may occasionally need to work from, which may also become your placement in the future. Some opportunities for remote work exist, but primarily the position is stationary at the office or on-site at projects.

The company applies trust-based working hours.

In this role, you will report directly to the project manager.

Job Description

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced construction project manager for Sjötorps Hus, where you will be offered an important role in planning, coordinating, and driving construction projects at various stages, with responsibility for time, personnel, quality, and economy. The projects range from 100-200 million SEK, with municipal clients.

As a project manager, you are responsible for creating structure and progress in the projects. You lead the projects through the entire implementation process to follow-up and completion. For those interested, you will also participate in design and procurement.

You will plan and follow up on timelines, conduct risk analyses, and ensure that the various parts of the project maintain the right quality and are delivered on time. Financial management is an important part of the role, where you follow up on budgets, manage deviations, and are responsible for cost-effective project execution.

The role involves close collaboration with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients. You will have continuous contact with the project stakeholders and ensure that communication flows smoothly throughout the project.

We are looking for someone who

Relevant education in the industry is advantageous, such as a construction program from high school or further education in construction from a university or vocational school. Valid certificates for Bas-P and Bas-U are also advantageous. A B driver's license is required.

We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, such as site manager or construction project manager. You have extensive experience in project management, construction law, documentation, and performance tracking in the construction industry, and you are accustomed to working with projects in the range of 100-200 million SEK. Experience as a skilled worker (carpenter or concrete worker) is also advantageous.

Both verbal and written communication is conducted in Swedish, so good knowledge of the language is a requirement.
